me*dia*or: Presskit.to's Press Kits For Musicians Now Embeddable, Boutique Services Added | hypebot

Presskit.to launched last year offering a hosted web app to create one or more electronic press kits for your band or for special events and releases. They recently announced the first of what they say are a series of upgrades…

This is worth looking into for a musician. When it comes to online press kits, Sonic Bids is a ripoff. Reverb Nation is great, but it’s growing complexity might open the doors to friendlier, less detailed, boutiqe apps & sites like Presskit.to and even viinyl.com.

The sheer fact that Nile Rodgers is back on top 40 radio with a disco hit w/ Daft Punk is amazing… Also the sheer fact that Pharrell Williams, R&B suducer, is being played on modern rock radio is amazing… it’s all amazing, really. Who am I kidding.

But there has been a slow and steady anticipation for Daft Punk’s return brewing in the back of your subconscious for quite sometime… 4.5 years to be approximate.

Find out what I’m talking about & how long the Random Access Memories marketing campaign has been simmering to a boil for quite a while now.
